New area: Club Baboesjka
In cooperation with partner Fatboy, Festival Mundial launches Fatboy Presents: Club Baboesjka. This area is dominated by Dutch acts that fit the profile of Mundial. During the day, Club Baboesjka is the field of talented Dutch bands. In the evening Club Baboesjka will be transformed into a club with DJs. The main goal of Club Baboesjka is party en fun!
An example of a typical Club Baboesjka act is Skip & Die. With both Dutch and South African roots, Skip & Die can be defined as South African rap, heavy beats and bass music. Amariszi, Kasha Nasha and Carlama Orkestar will provide the Balkan music on Festival Mundial. Kuenta i Tambú (Kit XL) is characterized by a surprising new sound, inspired by traditional Afro-Caribbean and European dance music.
