Human Rights Tattoo
Mundial is working on a new art project called Human Rights Tattoo. Together with visual art collective Tilburg CowBoys, Mundial is going to tattoo the complete Declaration of Universal Human Rights with the full 6773 characters on 6773 human beings around the world. The first tattoos will be given at Festival Mundial (June 16 & 17) and the project will move over the world to complete the full text.
Having a letter of the Human Rights Declaration means you are reminded of your and everybody’s rights and challenged to respect them. It is a way of putting your signature under the Declaration of Human Rights. Only the other way around: a piece of the document is signed on you. You will carry it with you. For the rest of your life.
